Save Money on Your Hot Water

Picture of an EF26

Upgrade to a Rinnai Infinity® EF26 to improve hot water efficiency and save costs*

  • A high efficiency continuous flow gas water heater designed for natural gas or LPG

  • The EF26 has approximately 92% thermal efficiency

  • Rinnai states that it uses around 11% less energy than a standard A26, which means less gas needs to be purchased for the EF26

How to choose between Natural Gas and LPG

Option 1 - Stay with Natural Gas

Upgrade your existing water heater to an EF26

  • No storage cylinder

  • 26 litres per minute capacity

  • Condensing technology

  • Hot water when you need it

  • Available as a Natural Gas model

If your existing water heater is approaching the end of its serviceable life, upgrading to an EF26 can provide improved efficiency and reliable hot water for years to come.

Option 2 - Get rid of Your Gas Meter

For a gas connection only connected to hot water, you may change to LPG bottled gas

  • Remove your mains natural gas connection

  • Avoid paying for a gas connection you barely use

  • Costs more per unit of energy than natural gas but eliminates the ongoing mains gas standing/fixed charge

*Energy prices and LPG costs vary between retailers and locations. The running-cost figures of piped natural gas and LPG are 8–22¢/kWh and 25–36¢/kWh respectively, and are indicative average figures inclusive of GST. Actual savings depend on household hot-water usage, current energy tariffs, LPG pricing, bottle rental and installation/conversion costs. A current energy bill should be used to determine the actual financial benefit. The installed price quoted is for a straight swap of your old water heater, with no pipework alteration or additional valves or controllers.
